Perspective Earned Through Service and Life
I am a West Texas man, Army veteran, and retired federal law-enforcement officer. I served as an infantryman and sniper in the U.S. Army’s 3rd Infantry Division, later as a Federal Air Marshal, and ultimately with the United States Border Patrol, retiring in 2023 after 25 years in federal law enforcement.
I do not write from a pedestal. I write from experience—service, work, mistakes, faith, family, and the hard lessons that come from living long enough to know character matters.
